“Isch habe nischt verstanden” (or something along the lines of “I didn’t understand that” but spoken with an enchanting French accent) is probably the sentence in German that Mireille uses more than any other. But audiences grasped a long time ago that Mireille is an exceptional musician. Her French charm grabs the attention of listeners, her stunning voice pierces the heart and her prowess with the flute is the ultimate experience. A lady who once seen is never to be forgotten.
A charming, full-blooded French musician with a fantastic and varied singing voice. And when she’s not singing she plays the flute like a dream. A French female Jan Anderson (Jethro Tull)? No, he couldn’t sing as well as Mireille.
And the way she so hauntingly interprets the German songs by ESA on the album "Bartok’s Crisis" with her French accent is almost drug-like in effect. The same goes for the French, English and Croatian songs too, of course. At the same time she also never fails to enchant the audience and her fans with her stage performance and temperament in live shows.

.
It should come as no surprise, therefore, that she won first prize in the “Premier Prix Interconservatoires et écoles de musique” competition as solo with the G major flute concerto by W.A. Mozart playing with the professional orchestra “Orchestre de Picardie”. So why does she play rock music nevertheless? Because ESA’s music, with its "symphonic rock", is a new form of classic rock that she finds inspiring.
.
Born in 1981 in Amiens, France, she took up playing the flute at the age of 10. She had classes with Marie Catherine Voirpy at the Academy of Music in Amiens, where she successfully completed her finals in 2000 (Diplôme d´études musicales and Diplôme de fin d’etudes).

Charming, French through and through, with a delightful French accent. An absolute goosebump feeling when she plays flute solo and especially with her unique voice. The songs are made for her and her stage performance simply has to be seen.
